New year - new projects: Angela Poschet is supporting Oslo based Qvisten Animation as Line Producer to set up the stop motion film “Solvan and Ludvig”. The story is based on the well-known norwegian characters by Kjell Aukrusts; Producer is Maipo in Oslo.

The teaser for UBS’ new Homepage is online now. Concept was developped by Frank Becher / Rixfilm together with the multimedia specialist HQ, who was responsible for the graphics and animation, too.

Rixfilm developped several concepts for short corporate videos in commission of the multimedia company HQ in Wiesbaden. Clients for the videos are the most important banks of Switzerland.

Siggi Keynote is a new animated character, which we developped in commission of the software company Keynote SIGOS. It is part of a video documentation of Keynote SIGOS’ telecommunication conference hold in Nuremberg ervery year.

Anja Struck’s stop motion film “How to raise the moon” is finished and will be screened on some of the most important short film festivals e.g. the Filmfestival Dresden, Oberhausener Kurzfilmtage, and the Animation fstival in Annecy. Angela Poschet was DoP of the project.

Angela Poschet joins the team of Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie project, which is currently produced in London.
Rixfilm wins as team member together with the Vergangenheitsverlag the idea contest “evolving eBooks”.

“Salt and Vinegar” - a short film by Camern Fraser will be produced in early September. The film is a co-productin of Rixflim, CINEMANIAX! and Kolik.

“Halimas Path” ot major funding by the Croatian Audiovisual Center. 70% of financing is now in place.

"Das Sandmännchen – Abenteuer im Traumland will premiere on the International Animation Film Festival in Stuttgart. Angela Poschet was as DoP and Studio Manager one of the key members in the crew. The film was shot in a five month schedule in Babelsberg on 22 sets with 18 animators. Producer is Jan Bonath from Scopas Medien AG.

Angela Poschetis joining the team of “O Apostolo”, the first stereoscopic Stop Motion Film in Europe. This film “ full of terror, humor and fantasy” is produced by Artefacto from Santiago de Compostela where it is shot as well.

Halima’s Path gained great interest in Mannheim. It is now presented to the Croatian Film Fund for a basic financial funding.

Halima’s Path will be presented during the Mannheim Meetings - the co-production market of the Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg. The project is also nominated for the Balkan Fund of the Thessaloniki Festival.

During the Sarajevo Film Festival we had a Kick off - Meeting for “Halima’s Path”. It will be a 4 countries co-production with MaximaFilms from Croatia as leading partner. Director will be Arsen Anton Ostojic, whose last film “No one’s Son” just was shortlisted for the European Film Awards.

Rixfilm starts business! The first projects already got the green light, others are prepared to be developped. Together with our partner company CINEMANIAX! in Nuernberg, Rixfilm will produce own films as well as projects in commission.
